Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and JoshuaOneNine LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("WellDone GFS," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the WellDone GFS website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We ask you to affirmatively accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy before your account is activated, and again when we make material changes; we keep a record of that acceptance.

2. Eligibility — adults only (18+)

WellDone GFS is intended solely for adults aged 18 years or older. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Service, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. We use a date-of-birth age check at account creation, computed on our servers, and decline to create accounts for anyone who does not meet the age requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will place it on hold and remove it in accordance with our procedures. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, contact support@welldonegfs.io with "Legal" in the subject line. WellDone GFS may in the future introduce parent-managed family features under a verified adult's supervision and consent; no such feature exists today, and until one is expressly launched with its own terms, the Service is adults-only.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and notify us promptly at support@welldonegfs.io if you suspect unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time.

4. The nature of the Service

WellDone GFS is a Scripture-centered daily-formation platform offering written and spoken reflection, prayer, guided formation, and features that let connected users share encouragement. It is provided for personal spiritual formation, free of charge; optional contributions are described in Section 9. The Service is not counseling, therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention, and is not a substitute for any of them (see Sections 7 and 8).

5. Your content and the license you grant us

"Your Content" means the reflections, prayers, journal entries, messages, voice and video recordings, preserved keepsakes, and other material you create through the Service. As between you and us, Your Content remains yours. To operate the Service for you, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, encrypt, transmit, display back to you and to the specific people you direct, and process Your Content solely to provide and secure the Service and its features. This license exists only so the software can function, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for content others have preserved as permitted by the feature they used, and backups or logs we must retain (purged on the schedule in the Privacy Policy). We do not sell Your Content, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train third-party advertising or foundation models.

6. AI-assisted features and their limits

Parts of the Service use automated and AI processing — to generate Scripture-grounded reflections in response to what you write, to power the in-app guide, and to screen text for safety (Section 8). When these features process Your Content, the relevant text is sent to AI providers acting on our behalf under contractual restrictions; the Privacy Policy identifies their categories and locations. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or unsuited to your situation. It is a devotional aid, not authoritative teaching, counsel, or fact; weigh it prayerfully and seek pastoral, professional, or medical guidance where appropriate.

7. Spiritual-content and no-professional-advice disclaimer

WellDone GFS provides faith-based reflection grounded in Scripture. It does not provide, and is not a substitute for, pastoral counseling, professional mental-health care, medical advice, or emergency services. Nothing in the Service creates a clergy-penitent, counselor-client, or provider-patient relationship. If you need care, please seek a qualified pastor, licensed professional, or medical provider.

8. Safety screening and crisis content

To help keep the community safe, text you submit may be automatically screened for indications of crisis, self-harm, or harm to others, so supportive resources can be surfaced and accounts routed for human review where our procedures call for it. This screening is automated and used only for safety and integrity; never for advertising. WellDone GFS is not a crisis or emergency service and cannot guarantee any message will be seen or acted on in time to help. If you are in danger, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately; in the U.S., call or text 988. How we handle accounts and content that screening surfaces is being developed with counsel; where an account is held for review, related content is preserved rather than automatically deleted.

9. Support contributions

WellDone GFS has no paid tiers; every feature is free, and contributions never unlock access, features, or status. If the Service has been meaningful, you may send a voluntary support contribution to JoshuaOneNine LLC. Contributions are gifts, not payment for services, and are not tax-deductible charitable donations. Contributions may be one-time or recurring; recurring ones are processed as billing subscriptions by Stripe, are subscriptions to nothing, and stopping one changes nothing about your access. Manage or stop a recurring contribution anytime via "Manage your support" on the support page, in your confirmation email, and in account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are case-by-case (email support@welldonegfs.io, subject "Legal"). Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store them.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm anyone; post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content; create, request, or share sexual content involving minors (prohibited absolutely and reported where required by law); impersonate others or misrepresent your age or identity, including to circumvent the age requirement; break, probe, disable, or reverse-engineer the Service or circumvent its security or access controls; scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute content, or use the Service or its content to train AI models; or use the Service in violation of any law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, hold, or terminate an account that violates these Terms, that we reasonably believe belongs to a person under 18, or where necessary to protect users or comply with law. You may close your account at any time; on closure, Your Content is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content, including AI-generated content, will be accurate or suitable.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JoshuaOneNine LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, to the fullest extent permitted by law our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed US$100 or the amount you contributed in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless JoshuaOneNine LLC and its members from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Governing law and disputes

WellDone GFS is operated by JoshuaOneNine LLC, organized in Florida, USA. These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties submit to courts located in Florida for any dispute not subject to an agreed alternative process, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we will communicate them (by email or in-app) and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing. We identify each version so you can see which you agreed to and when.
