Formation Pathways

A Guided Journey

Digital Sabbath

Rest, quiet, and intentional disconnecting.

Sabbath is not the absence of activity — it is the presence of rest. This is a slow room for setting down the device and picking up the quiet.

The walk

  1. 01

    Naming the noise

Before rest, honesty. Where has the screen been quietly shaping your attention, your appetite, your peace? Name it plainly. Nothing here is a rebuke — only a beginning.

  2. 02

    Small quiet hours

Sabbath rarely begins with a whole day. It begins with an hour set aside — a morning before the phone, an evening after it. Small windows of quiet, kept faithfully.

  3. 03

    A day set apart

One day a week, let the tools rest. Not perfectly. Not legalistically. Simply enough to remember you are more than what you produce or consume.

  4. 04

    Reclaiming attention

Attention is the soul's currency. What you look at, you become like. Give the best of your attention to what feeds you, not to what farms you.

  5. 05

    Rest as worship

God rested on the seventh day, not from exhaustion but as declaration. Sabbath is the quiet sentence: The world does not depend on me.
