The AI never writes Scripture.

When a reflection meets a verse, our AI chooses which passage meets your moment — the words themselves are fetched verbatim from the Bible text, every time. No paraphrase, no reconstruction, no AI-generated verses. If the text can't be retrieved, we show a trusted passage from our curated set rather than anything a model produced.

Every verse is labelled, and you can check it.

Scripture here is served from our own copies of the editions we hold — not fetched from anywhere at the moment you read it, and never generated. Each edition is stored whole, with a record of where it came from and when, and we never show you a verse without naming the edition it came from.

You read in the edition you choose, and what you save records the edition you read it in. Nothing is machine translated — a translation is the work of translators, and a machine passing over it would make it something else under the same name.

Where a verse can be read in full, the link goes to our own reader, in the edition you are already reading. We would rather show you the text we can account for than send you to a copy we cannot. The exception is a search across themes, which our reader cannot do — those links say plainly that they leave.

We expect you to check us against the Book.

If you turn on voice features, verses and reflections can be read aloud in a calm, unhurried voice. These are AI-generated readings, not human recordings — we say so plainly — tuned for contemplative pacing rather than performance. Audio is created only when you start playback: by pressing play, or, in Echoes, as scenes unfold once you've chosen a narration voice. Nothing is spoken for you until you've said yes to voice. No audio is pre-generated or stored on our servers, and nothing leaves your session beyond the moment of playback, as our Covenant describes.

We'd love to serve Scripture in the translation your heart knows by memory. Licensed translations require agreements we're pursuing carefully rather than quickly.

When you use WellDone GFS in another language, the interface is translated, but Scripture is always shown in its canonical source text — never machine-translated. The linked reference is the way to read it in your own language's trusted translation.

What we refuse to do.

No verse-of-the-day gamification. No clipping promises out of their context. No using Scripture to keep you scrolling. The Word is the point — WellDone GFS is just the doorway.
