A Fellowship Circle
Sisterhood Circle
Quiet, intentional friendship among sisters — wholeness, courage, faith.
A small circle of women or girls walking together in honest friendship — not a Bible study to perform in, not a place to compare lives, but a steady, safe space to be fully known and to keep becoming who God is forming.
Why it matters
From Ruth and Naomi to Mary and Elizabeth, scripture honors the formation that happens when women walk together with tenderness and truth. A Sisterhood Circle is a refusal of comparison and isolation — a return to the kind of friendship that bears burdens, speaks blessing, and helps each sister stand in her belovedness.
Scripture foundation
- Ruth 1:16
“Where you go, I will go… your people will be my people, and your God my God.”
- Luke 1:39-45
“Mary… entered into the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth… and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.”
- Titus 2:3-5
“Older women… may train the young wives…”
Gentle rhythms
- Meet on a steady rhythm — weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
- Open with a short scripture and a moment of silence.
- One sister shares; the others listen without fixing.
- Close with prayer or blessing spoken over each sister.
How to form one
- Begin with 2–4 sisters who will protect honesty and confidentiality.
- Consider inviting an older woman as a gentle, steady presence.
- Choose a place that feels emotionally safe — home, garden, quiet café.
- Let the circle be slow. Depth grows from time, not intensity.
When you are ready, open Fellowship Circles to create your Sisterhood Circle and invite the sisters who will walk with you.
